That last minute Christmas Rush & Seasons Greetings

It is that time of year again when we find ourselves rushing to meet deadlines, shopping for xmas presents and dealing with car parking, grumpy customers, grumpy sales assistance and people rushing.  It is one of the most stressful times of the year and I can’t avoid the stress, as a business owner our clients are pretty good, but I know myself I want to get away for a break and not have to think about things, so I try and get as much done as possible and I forget to look after myself, or don’t sleep well because my mind is racing and I eat on the run.

It is twice as bad in December because we celebrate 6-7 birthdays, amongst Christmas parties.  I have my list of things to do, but it doesn’t seem to get ticked off and there are not many sleeps left till the big fat jolly man comes down my chimney (because I have been good this year!).

We close Greven & Co at 1pm this Thursday and we are off to the Alma for Christmas Lunch and then its holidays until the 3rd of January 2017 but I am going to be a bit sneaky and have an extra week.  Many people may have heard me say, I don’t have an accountant, so I have to do my own books and this is the time of the year I do my own paperwork, so not much of a holiday but some extra sleep time is always welcome.

We at Greven & Co hope that you have a wonderful Christmas with family and loved ones, that these times are blessed with happiness and joy. Everything in moderation (we have an article on some tips, if you are interested) and we will see you in 2017, where we will get WILD WITH GREVEN, more on that in January 2017.  Have a happy new year, drive safely and be kind to each other, we are all we got!
